About the film
Filmed over three winters aboard a single trawler, Silent Waters follows Captain Aksel and his crew as they navigate storms, silence and the slow disappearance of a craft passed down through six generations. Shot on 35mm and in 4K aerial, the film is scored entirely with field recordings — the ship's engine, wind on rigging, and the low breath of the sea. An asufo.tv original production.
